A quick word from Jevic
     I started The Tarheel Writer website as I posted the last chapter of my first story, "The Watchers" on Nifty on 23 February 2003. With the help of some close friends, the humble beginnings of The Tarheel Writer went "live" way back then.
    Over two decades later I've written and posted more stories. I've made friends, met fellow authors, webmasters and corresponded with many, many readers. The site has evolved, grown, expanded and changed. Resources have been added including information for youth and medical information specific for us queer folk. I've addressed the age old debate between Homosexuality and Christianity. You'll find gay news sources, information on those gay porn actors that helped pull us out of the closet so many years ago and I've dedicated a page to remember those that have needlessly died ... a memorial of sorts to the Matthew Shepards, the Ryan Whites and those young people who saw no alternative other than suicide to bring an end to the pain.
    I'm rather proud of what this site has become as it has grown through the years. Through the encouragement of friends, family, fellow authors and readers just like you, The Tarheel Writer has grown from those awkward beginnings to what you see today. Rarely does a day go by that I don't spend some time nuturing, fine tuning and perfecting the site.

     After the death of his parents, Ian finds himself in foster care with a horrible family. It is so bad that he runs away from his foster home and stumbles into a campsite where he meets a lovely long haired blond boy by the name of Ocean, who is immediately smitten with Ian. Along with an intriguing plot, this story drips in explict sexual content along with some drug use. Anyone that would name their kid Ocean would probably have an open mind when it comes to partaking in the natural plants that nature provides. You might call them modern day hippies. Read along and follow as Ian deals with a boyfriend, inheritance, jealously and an uncle out to kill him.

     Neo works for his father in the landscaping business. He falls in love with Collier, son of a billionaire ... a la Prince and the Pauper. Their summer romance burns bright, but there are troubled waters ahead. Neo finds himself homeless and resorts to what street kids do to get by. But there is a shining star in Neo's future. Aiden comes to Neo's rescue in more ways than one. This one drips in sex.

     When Logan's fundamentalist Christan parents find him sucking his best friend's dick, they throw him out of the house and onto the streets. He turns to his best friend and get's the door slammed in his face. Now Logan is all alone and faced with finding a place to live and how to get his next meal.

     Hunter, a high school junior, falls in love with his best friend Jesse and after agonizing over it, finally tells him. Jesse reacts by punching Hunter in the face and a lifelong friendship evaporates in the blink of an eye. Hunter escapes by signing on to help move a sailboat from Jacksonville to Key West and ends up in a horrific storm. Follow Hunter was he battles Mother Nature and the loss of his friend. And follow Jesse as he battles his feelings for Hunter.

     Follow Daniel as he deals with a past that just won't go away. It's all action/adventure as Daniel and his friends try to stay one step ahead of the bad guy. Directly from Daniel's past (or Danny as he was known as back then), a man is threatening Daniel's friends unless Daniel installs little black boxes all over the world along the spine of the Internet. What do they do, no one knows, but there are goverment agencies that are quite interested on the black boxes and Daniel in particular. Be prepared for a fast paced story that literally jets across the globe.

     Cameron is the school fag. He deals with the insults and occasional physical violence. One day the violence goes too far. When Cameron wakes up he learns that he is adopted and his real parents came from outerspace. He is starting to develop strange powers and finds out there is a whole army out to kill him. This is my first novel length story.

     So Dan and Tom (Harry and Draco) are really real wizards performing in the Harry Potter movies. They get up to some strange stuff with bad guys, not the bad guys in the movies, but the bad guys in the real wizarding world,.
