A quick word from Jevic
DomLuka was one of the first authors I added to the Suggested Reading page. His story The Long Way (The Log Way - cute story behind the name) caught my attention early on. That was followed by another then another. I admit it! I'm a DomLuka Fan!
DomLuka dominated the online gay writing genre in the early 2000s with his strong character-driven narratives. He slipped off quietly in 2009 and we haven't heard from him since, sadly.

This is a great story about Owen and eventually Owen and Aiden. Owen's father throws him out of the house for being gay and he ends up living with his two older brothers. A chance fight at school gets Owen introduced to Aiden only to find out Aiden lives in the same four unit apartment building! Owen thinks Aiden is cute, but hopelessly straight and Aiden thinks ... well, read the story. You'll love it!
The back story to the title all boils down to a misspelling. DomLuka accidently sent to story out titled "The Log Way." The misspelling has since been corrected, but for a long time this story was known as "The Log Way."

Kyle Davis had learned a lot from his fish. Just like the people around him, they each had their own place in their little world, their own personalities, and their own purpose. The little goldfish was his most recent addition to this tank, and already he could tell that the two mollys seemed to be mistaking its gleaming gold scales for flakes of food. And just like always, he did not interfere in the affairs of fish, just as he did not interfere in the affairs of Travis Beltnick, who the little goldfish was reminding him very much of at the moment.

He likes things just the way they are, thank you. But then he meets Jude Landon, and everything in Quinn's comfortable world is turned upside down.

Stuck in the middle of nowhere Arkansas with his mom and his sister, Frank Seaberg wishes that he could return to his old life. When he meets his neighbors, Oliver and David Martin, he’s just happy to have found some friends. But, when Frank begins to suspect that not all is well in the Martin house and begins to search for answers that no one wants him to know, he finds himself in the middle of a family feud that could test his patience, his morals, and ultimately place his own life and those he cares about in danger. Author Warning: This is not a romance, so if you're familiar with my other work and expect the same kind of story here, you won't find it. However, this is my first attempt at Mystery/Suspense, and I happen to be proud of it.
