    My first dive into absolute fiction. The characters honestly do not exist any where. They're a mix of guys I've known everywhere I've lived. The place exists, some of the descriptions of other places are real enough. I've lived in LA very close to Woodland Hills. This web site was also opened in June of 1999. Why TheEggman? Why The Glass Onion? References to my fav band The Beatles and my fav song writer John Lennon. Glass Onion is a song on the Beatles "White" album.

    Here I thought it was time to show that these are 15 & 16 year old teens that are falling in love for the first time. With that realization comes the insecurities. So Keith and Preston talked a lot in this chapter.

 "Two Sides of the Same Coin"

    In this chapter I took two deviations (gutter!). The first was to tell some of the history behind's Mike's life and experiences. So you finally get to learn how Mike and Derrick got together. The notepad I used to create chapter 2 contained most of this stuff and it was originally intended for that chapter. When I started writing "Beach Party" however, I couldn't find a good way for 17 year old Preston, our story teller, to know all these facts. That's how I came up with the second deviation, writing in the third person.

Chapter Six
 "Dreams and Reality"

    Another change I felt was needed and this will set the tone for upcoming chapters. Here we have Keith telling the story for the first time. Preston's "new life" is still the main subject but in order to visit the topics and events I want to over the next weeks and month's it will be necessary to tell the story from various character's perspectives as well as occasionally from the third person. This is my first "cliffhanger" chapter. Pictures of the main characters were added to the story page. These are clothed pics (bare chested, beach shots mostly).

    Keith continues his part of the story. You'll learn more about Drew and John and how the Hundser's interact. But what about Preston? and Mike and Derrick? and Preston's mom?! You'll see when Preston returns in chapter 8.

    Keith puts his relationship in perspective and loves Preston in a deeper way; not only as a boyfriend but as a roommate and full time, rest of his life lover.
    Between Chapters 12 and 16 I had personal tragedy strike. After a long full life my faithful companion Zeus departed this world on November 14th, 1999. He was thirteen years old. I'll always miss him.

    Before Prez knows it the holiday season is upon him. His love for Keith intensifies and he keeps his memories alive but lives his life in the present.
