"Shiye, did you file the Britney footage into the archives," Karen asked leaning over the side of the cubicle where a slender young girl sat scribbling notes in a file.

"I'm going to do that just before I head out, I'm cutting out early today, I've got another date," she smiled up at her friend.

"Kermit," Karen asked.

"Yup, last night was amazing," Shiye whispered.

"You better be careful, you know how ticky they get when one of us hooks up with one of them," Karen warned.

"Who's going to know, besides my vacation starts today, I've got two weeks leave saved up and I'm going to be spending it with, well, you know."

"Just don't get caught."

Shiye left her desk and headed to the archives. Filed the footage of Britney and headed back to her desk to grab her things. Serena was talking on her phone.

"Hey, this message was just left for you," Serena said handing it to her.

"Oh, uh why were you at my desk?"

"I was going to ask you for that footage but you weren't here, the phone rang so, hey who's Kermit anyways," she smiled.

"Just a friend," Shiye replied quickly.

"Uh, huh ok, well tell him I said hi," Serena smiled.

"What?"

"He did the same voice once in an interview," Serena winked and walked off.

Shiye grabbed her jacket and purse and headed out. Standing in the elevator leading down to the lobby she looked at herself in the reflection of the metal doors.

"Thank God for genetics," she thought to herself.

She was a trim five foot seven. Long brown hair with an accented blond streak. Clear shining green eyes and a smile to die for. She was wearing a hunter green halter with black leather pants. Everyone had commented on how she seemed more dressed up than usual today but she had played it off. She had been keeping a quiet connection with Isaac for the past week, no one knew, not even his brothers or Will. She thought at the time no one at MTV knew either until Serena made that comment. She didn't care though.

She left the studios and hoped on the subway. Moments later she was at home grabbing her suit case and punching in Ikes digits on her cell phone.

"Hey Kermie," she giggled.

"Hey Shiye, you on your way over, we leave in like two hours to go back to Tulsa," Ike replied.

"Great, I'll be there in a flash."

"Cool, be safe."

Thirty minutes later she arrived at the Plaza Hotel.

"It's so good to see you," Ike said throwing his arms around her.

"So this is Shiye," Zac said walking up behind Ike.

"Yup, hey dude, what's goin' on," she laughed.

"Whoa, she is stacked," Zac yelped as Ike slugged him in the arm.

"How observant," she laughed as she rolled her eyes walking in.

"Dad will be ready to go in a minute, then we're heading back home for a few hours and we're going straight to Hawaii," Ike said.

"Do Tay and Will know yet," she asked.

"Not really, they're leaving in about two hours and we'll be leaving not much long after, it's kind of a surprise."

"We'll meet up with them after a few days and then decide what to do from there," Ike smiled as he leaned in closer.

"Dude, I can't handle much more, with Tay and Will all over each other, and you two are like verging on gag time," Zac said as he walked past.

"You're just jealous," Shiye laughed.

"No, I just want some action too," Zac replied with a goofy face.

"Do we really have to take him with us," she giggled.

"Well, he can always fit in the over head compartment," Ike smiled.

"Ok kids, let's split," Walker said walking in.

"Thank god," Zac said grabbing his things.

"Hey whoa, who's this," Walker asked.

"Dad, this is Shiye, she's coming with us," Ike said as they both stood up.

"Hello Mr. Hanson, it's great to finally meet you," Shiye said extending her hand.

"Two one two five five five, eight nine zero three," he asked as he shook her hand.

"Yeah, is something wrong," she asked slightly nervous.

"No, it just explains all the long distance calls on the cell bill," Walker laughed.

"Dad, you looked at the bill," Ike winced.

"Yeah, we do pay bills still, besides, if you're cool with her, so am I," Walker exclaimed as he grabbed up some papers and headed out into the hall.

"See that wasn't so bad was it," Ike asked hugging her.

"Nope," she smiled leaning in.

Their eyes met, Ike's cheeks flushed and he kissed her briefly.

"Come on you to love nerds," Zac yelled at them leaning in.

They both flinched and sneered at Zac.

"What was that you were saying about the over head compartment again," Shiye asked.

They both laughed as they left the room.

Anthea woke up with a start. She wasn't sure what had woken her. But she had a feeling something was up. She grabbed her cordless phone and called Crystal.

"Hello," Crystal answered with a groggy voice.

"Crys, what are they up to?"

"Huh, what do you mean," she asked still sleepy.

"Taylor and Will, did they tell you anything," Anthea snapped.

"Uh, what, uh no, Tay was really short, his mom was calling."

"Shit, ok bye," Anthea replied hanging up before Crystal could say anymore.

Anthea got up and threw on her clothes ran a brush through her hair and ran out the door.

"I can't just go over there," she walked back inside and up to her room.

She pulled out her binoculars and focused. Even though her view was fairly good it was distant to say the least. The brick and slate blue house was just barely visible. The mail truck rolled up to their mail box. The front door opened and Tay came running out. Anthea flinched Will was standing in the front door. Tay ran back into the house. In a few moments the mail truck would be at her house.

A few moments later Anthea walked outside as the mail truck pulled up. The elderly man behind the wheel smiled.

"Well hello there Miss Treylor," he smiled as he dug through the stack in the crate beside him.

"Hi Mr. Sprinkles, any mail today," she smiled.

"Actually yes, what a nice surprise to see you, I'd reckon you're normally asleep right now," he smiled as he handed her the stack of mail.

"Well I'm getting ready to go on vacation," she said baiting him.

"Oh really, you're the second person to mention a vacation," he replied.

"Oh, who else is," she asked sweetly.

"Little Taylor Hanson and his friend are going on vacation today, in an hour or so," he replied as he put the truck into gear.

"Oh really, where they going to," she smiled anxiously.

"I believe he said Hono-honulo hon," he stuttered.

"Honolulu," she asked nicely.

"Yes that's it Honolulu, I believe it's in Hawaii," he smiled.

"Oh that's nice, you take care," she smiled.

"You too Miss Treylor bye bye now," he waved as he rolled on down the street at a painful ten miles an hour.

"Damn I'm good," she muttered to her self wickedly as she headed up her drive way.

Taylor came up and hugged me as he pushed the door closed with his foot.

"Do you always greet the mail man," I asked giggling.

"No, but I was expecting something in the mail today but it can wait a few weeks," he smiled.

"You boys need to get some food in you before you go, the prices are unreal at the airport," Diana called from the kitchen.

"We'll be billionaires and she'll still think about the small stuff," Tay laughed.

"Yeah but you gotta love her," I smiled.

"Of course," he winked as we walked into the kitchen.

"Is that just a clever rouse to get us to eat your cooking," Tay smiled wickedly at his mother.

"You take after your father," she smiled back and strained up and kissed him on the forehead.

"You'd think with all of us around she'd get better as time went by, seems that it's gone the other way," Tay giggled.

"Now I've gotten better," she defended herself.

"Yeah, you've stopped trying to force feed us," Tay busted out laughing.

Diana slapped him on the butt and shook her head.

"I guess there's no convincing you?"

"Naw mom, we've gotta run we'll get something on the way, the van," Tay started as a horn blew outside.

"Is here," he finished smiling.

"Well give us all a hug," she said with open arms.

Tay did the rounds with his siblings and his mother. Then I gave her a good hug and she took us into the front hall way.

"Now I know you boys will look after one another, Will, Taylor is in your hands. I trust you, and I know you'll take care of him," she smiled.

"You have no cause to worry," I smiled.

"Besides, just how many disasters can happen to one couple," Tay called as we trotted out the door and tossed our luggage into the van. We waved as it pulled away.

"Here we go, and now the fun," I smiled at Tay and kissed him.

Meanwhile at the National Severe Storm Laboratory.

"Ed are you seeing this," Karen Montgomery said while looking at her computer screen.

"Yeah, I'm not liking it much either, if the fronts keep moving like this, we're going to have a major problem on our hands," he said looking at the formation in the South Pacific that had began to condense in the past twenty four hours.

"Do you want to log it or send some information out to the islands," Karen asked.

"Not yet, let's just see how much more it develops, the first sign of a really tropical storm depression, then we warn them, no need to get them all worked up. It could easily dissipate in the next twelve to twenty four."

Karen looked at her screen again, her stomach didn't feel well. She knew this feeling, it wasn't good.
