A note from Chris James
     The beauty of the New England states is exemplified by the tall peaks of the White Mountains in New Hampshire, the centerpiece of that display is Mount Washington, the highest point in the Northeastern United States. For it is there that the sun first shines on this continent each morning and the snow locks in the majesty of that moment, few humans dare witness that event in the depths of winter.
    Once again I write about small town life in rural America, a place where winter isolates only the people but not their hearts. For even in the depths of a blizzard love may blossom and give hope for life in the spring.
